Ferrari F12 TRS

June 2014 – Amongst the furore of the new La Ferrari at the Ferrari Cavalcade event in Sicily came the surprise unveiling to the world of the Ferrari F12 TRS.

A custom-built Ferrari designed in tandem with a private collector and Ferrari’s in-house design team. The client approached Ferrari with his vision of how he wanted his own personal Ferrari to look, 5 years and an estimated £5m later the TRS was born

Taking inspiration from the 1957 250 Testa Rossa, the vision was a modern designed V12 Ferrari with a nod towards the stripped out racers from the past.. Although the TRS shares the platform of a Ferrari F12, that’s where the similarity ends, designed as a permanent open-top car without a fixed roof or tonneau, no air conditioning, stereo or window wipers and a 730BHP V12 engine, she’s a pure sunny climate GT car.

Sportscar Protection has detailed and maintained the car since new and supported her at events like the Goodwood festival of speed, Salon Prive where she won the peoples choice award, Ferrari Cavalcade events 2014 – 2016, the Paris automobile show in 2015 and since then on her travels with the client around Europe and the UAE.

Amongst rumours of more TRS’s being put into production, the client took delivery of the second car in 2015, finished in a modern chrome painted effect with updated interior and aero features. Despite all the rumours and speculation in the press and on social media, there have only ever been 2 x Ferrari F12 TRS put into production, both being owned by the very man who designed them and detailed and maintained by Sportscar Protection

Trusted with the worlds rarest and most exotic cars, Sportscar Protection has been at the pinnacle of the detailing industry for the last 20 years now.
